Due to the time change over the weekend in the U.S it does move the time frames up to 11.30am Eastern-3.30pm Eastern. (It is still 1630gmt-2030gmt) Just now eastern time is 5 hours behind GMT instead of 4 hours.

So make note of that for your trading.

I am looking for a good week this week after a very slow and boring week last week. It looks like the pairs have a little more movement this morning so hopefully that will continue and give us some good selections in the coming days.

What a slow week for us.

5 trades this week and none were for more than 7 pips in EITHER DIRECTION.

Yesterday was more of the same.

AUD/USD -3 PIPS
GBP/USD +1 PIP (needed 6 on BOM)

Looks like today is finally picking up some movement after the GDP number was released.

A note that the time changes here in the U.S on Saturday night. And since our software is based on GMT (which doesn't change) you will need to adjust accordingly your trading. So instead of 12.30pm-4.30pm Eastern for trading. It will be 11.30am-3.30pm trading.

Markets didn't move much yesterday even with the FOMC meeting.

We had 2 trades both were VERY SMALL. And both were losses on BOM.

The markets have been very slow this week.

USD/YEN +1 PIP (needed 4 on BOM)
GBP/USD -7 PIPS

We keep the losses small and that is key in trading. We did have a nice week last week just hasn't been much to pick from this week.

Yesterday was pretty dull. We had 2 trades yesterday and both were for VERY SMALL.

GBP/AUD was 13 pip loser
GBP/USD was 5 pip winner (Needed to be a 6 pip winner on BOM)

Both trades were placed for Very small due to their movements for the day etc.. We chat about that on the yahoo messenger with members of the LazyTrading.com.

So overall still a nicely profitable week to date.

Big Day for LazyTrading.com? October 18th

Hello Forex traders,

Well first off I got stopped out of my NZD/USD short trade. I was up a good amount at one point but wanted MORE. It offered good risk/reward so I don't have any real regrets on that trade. It was just giving back a small portion of the nice GBP/AUD divergence trade anyway so still up nicely on those 2 "side" trades.

As far as yesterdays LazyTrading.com trades we were 1-1 on the day. Both were medium size trades.

GBP/AUD was a 27 pip loser
GBP/YEN was a 49 pip WINNER

So overall if trading on the forex market you still ended up with a nice 20 pips or so. Add that to the 49 pips on Monday and we are having a nice week so far.

As far as today's trades historically the LazyTrading.com software offers 4 currency pairs that have performed well on Wednesdays.

USD/YEN
GBP/AUD
GBP/USD
GBP/YEN

We will see how things go with those pairs. Trades have been nice so far this week let us see if they continue to be.

2 Nice Winners, October 17th

I hope you had a profitable Monday.

There is some news that will move the market at 8.30am Eastern with the PPI. And some smaller news at 9.15am Eastern. Tomorrow the 8.30am CPI should move the market as well.

As far as my NZD/USD trade (non lazytrading software just looking at charts) I am still in I didn't take the conservative approach and put in a break even stop. It didn't close above the .6620 area yesterday but looks like it will today. I have a stop in case of a spike so we will see. If I get lucky on the news or something and drive it back down to a close below .6620 I would still feel ok about it. But if it does close above .6620 and I haven't been stopped out at that time I will exit the position. It isn't that big of position as mentioned earlier and took it due to the nice profits in the GBP/AUD bear divergence last week.

Monday October 16th Start of a good Week

I hope you had a good weekend.

I am still in the NZD/USD short trade. I am still up a little bit, though it has moved against me a bit today. Conservative play would be to put the stop at breakeven but I am going to wait it out and see if it closes above .6620ish first. It still offers good risk/reward and I made some good pips with the GBP/AUD divergence trade last week I got some pips to play with.
If the NZD/USD breaks .6540 it should move easily to .6500 and hopefully to my target in the .6470 range.

As far as today's trading historically the following currencies have done well with LazyTrading.com Software on Monday's.

October 13th NZD/USD TRADE

Hello Forex Traders,

We had 1 trade yesterday with the AUD/USD it was a 6 pip loser.

Very light trading week for us. The things early in the week didn't seem to fall into place. But as I have said before I would rather trade little than have a lot of losing trades. So we can capture good action when the markets are in our favor.
The markets will always be there no need to force it.

I mentioned yesterday as well that I went short the NZD/USD. Based on the daily chart it looks like it could fall 100 + pips and the risk was only in the 30-40 pip range so it was very good risk reward. My fill was .6607 the key is not to get a daily close above .6620 and I think it is pretty safe trade as long as that doesn't happen. I have my stop higher then that in case of a run that way etc.. I am looking for about .6470ish on it. It is in profit some already this morning we will see how it goes. I may consider a breakeven stop once it gets down to .6550 I'll keep you posted though.

We don't have LazyTrading.com trades on Fridays so nothing to report on that.

Yesterday was another quiet day. We have seemed to have a lot of those lately. The only trade taken was a Very Small GBP/AUD trade and it was a loser by 11 pips.

So we are still up for the week with a 1-0 on the Normal size trades and 0-1 on the very small trades.

Today is Thursday which tends to be quiet as well.

The 2 pairs that have fared well over the last year + on Thursdays are .....

AUD/USD (This pair has moved nicely already looks like it may setup for a nice trade)
GBP/USD

GBP/AUD continued lower down 400+ pips from my bear divergence entry! It pays to read this blog.

I just went short the NZD/USD based on the daily charts. My fill was .6607 I have roughly a 30-40 pip stop in and am looking for 100-130 pip move over the next week or so.

Close out of GBP/AUD 240 pips October 11

Another good day trading yesterday.

I closed out of the remaining 2/3rds of the GBP/AUD bear divergence yesterday for 240 pip gain! Just another advantage for reading this blog on a Daily basis.

I also had a Signal on the LazyTrading.com software for the GBP/AUD which was a 25 pip winner!

That was the only trade we had yesterday but a nice winner for the LazyTrading.com software.

As for Today the markets look like they haven't had a lot of movement yet today on a few of the pairs.

Tuesday October 10th

Hello Forex traders,

I exited out of 1/3 of my position in the GBP/AUD yesterday with about 80 pip winner. As of this writing I still have the other 2/3's of the position still short. And at present that is currently in profit by a little over 200 pips. It is currently at 2.4970 which past first target. I have put in a stop a little above 2.5000 so worst case I will close out the rest of the position with about 170 pips profit. I am still looking for some more downside though.

I hope you were able to trade it as well. I know a lot of forex brokers don't offer the GBP/AUD pair but it is a great pair and used frequently with the LazyTrading.com software. I have found a broker recently that offers it and I was able to use them for this Divergence trade. (Usually I have always had to use BetonMarkets for GBP/AUD trades)

You can find the broker at http://www.SuperMiniForex.com They offer a low $100 minimum deposit and you can deposit by Credit Card which is very nice. I have only used them for about a week now. Their spreads aren't the greatest by any means. I only plan on using them for the GBP/AUD myself. So if you are looking for a good way to trade the GBP/AUD this is a good way to go. As far as yesterday's trades we didn't have any LazyTrading.com software trades. The market was a bit slower yesterday maybe some people took some time off as it was a Holiday in Canada and the U.S.

GBP/AUD short divergence is looking great that I talked about on Friday. Hopefully you are in some good profit with that trade. It is getting close to first target and I may sell 1/2 my position a little later today depending on how the LazyTrading.com software is going. As they may have a signal in the GBP/AUD later as this is a good day historically for that pair.

But you should be sitting on 150-200 pips right now in that pair.

Fridays Forex trade and a GBP/AUD TRADE?

Good Morning Forex Traders,

The jobs report moved the markets this morning and things are still active which is nice after a slow week.

Yesterday the only thing that presented itself was the GBP/AUD it wasn't a good day historically for that pair I decided to pass on it. It would have been a small winner. So No official trades yesterday.

Overall for the week for the Lazytrading we finished down based on BOM though less than 1 normal size trade. On Forex finished with about 10 pips so nothing big either way. Preserve the capital when the markets aren't in your direction and in the long run do VERY WELL.

LazyTrading.com doesn't trade on Fridays.

On another note though looking at the chart of the GBP/AUD daily chart. I have spotted a possible bear/short divergence. I went short late yesterday and am first looking for a price just under 2.5000 and then just under 2.4900. It isn't a huge trade by any means but I thought I would give it a shot. I am short from just under 2.5200 with a stop above 2.5300

If it can close below 2.5220 today I think it is in good shape.

Thursday October 5th Forex trading

Well, another winning day yesterday with LazyTrading.com software.

We had 2 trades GBP/AUD normal size and it was a 14 pip winner.
GBP/USD was a very small trade and a loser for 4 pips.

Trading on BOM it was 1-1 but a good size winner. As the winning trade was the bigger trade.

GBP/USD is finally getting some movement today after being dead the last couple of days.

Historically their are 2 trades that produce well today.

AUD/USD
GBP/USD

Their are also 2 other currency pairs that are looking like a good opportunity later today. If that is still the case around signal time I will discuss that with those on Yahoo messenger.

Of course tomorrow is the big Jobs report that will move the markets in a big way.

Forex Trading Wednesday October 4th

Hope your day is going well.

Yesterday was a profitable day for me. I had 3 trades.

GBP/AUD was a normal size trade and was a 22 pip winner
USD/YEN (not based on the ebook stats was a loser by 6 pips however was a VERY small trade)

GBP/YEN was a very small trade due to its price movement and it was a loser by 21 pips.

I have 3 levels of trading. Normal size, Medium size, and very small.

Normal size is when everything is the way its suppose to be based on ebook stats and other things listed in the ebook. (I also tell people via yahoo messenger what size I am going to be in at.)

Medium size is when the risk/reward isn't there. Which 1/2 size of normal.

Very Small size is when it looks like a decent trade but either the ebook stats aren't there to back it up etc... (1/4 size of Normal)

So even though I had 2 losers and 1 winner yesterday I had a nice profit for the day.

Usually its always normal size trading but on some days where the trades don't look as good, I need to cut down the risk. Its just good money management.

Today their are 2 news releases coming out that could effect the market but also the US Fed chairman is speaking which could always move the market.

As far as Forex Stats historically for today....

All are pretty good historically today based on the LazyTrading.com Software.

Forex Trading Tuesday October 3rd

Well, yesterday wasn't great.

If you traded strictly on Betonmarkets it was an 1-3 day. If a forex trader you were about breakeven.

USD/CAD finished down 6. (Up 2 with 10 minutes left)
GBP/AUD finished Up 10 pips for a winner
GBP/USD finished up 5 pips for small winner on forex. (lost by 1 pip on BOM)
GBP/YEN finished down 4 pips (10 minute before or after end time would have been a winning trade.

So the losers were small but so were the winners yesterday so no big day to write about.

But again if we can keep the losers small and continue to pick high quality trades in the Long run the medium/big size WINNERS out gain the small losers.

Today is another day and we have 2 GBP PAIRS that have historically performed quite well.

GBP/AUD
GBP/YEN

No schedule financial news releases coming out that should move the markets.

Are you as excited as me for Monday to roll around?

I LOVE week days. I guess that is because I love trading! Not enough things going on the weekend except Church of course. Maybe I am a little dull I guess. LOL.

Well Mondays can be a great day to trade. It also looks like there will be some action happening as the currency pairs looks like they have some movement going this morning.

The 4 good currency pairs to trade on Mondays for our Lazytrading.com software are...

USD/CAD (OVER 70% Historically winners)
GBP/AUD (OVER 70% Historically winners)
GBP/USD (OVER 60% Historically winners)
GBP/YEN (OVER 60% Historically winners)

We don't have the USD/CAD trade a lot on Mondays. Just twice in August and Twice in September. But when we do have a trade in that pair it tends to be profitable.

August had a 1-1 record with the USD/CAD on Mondays with a net 12 pips profit.
September had a 2-0 record with the USD/CAD on Mondays with a net 12 pips profit.

So when we do have trades on Monday's for the USD/CAD lately they have been profitable. The profits haven't been huge but they keep you in profit and that is key. It is also a currency pair we are only in for about 2.5 hours which is about the shortest time we do.

Yesterday was a 1-1 day via BOM. As the AUD/USD was a small winner and the GBP/USD finished the same price as it started on BOM. (probably a small loss in forex)

If you strictly traded just the software stats via BOM via the yahoo messenger signals I provide you would have ended with a very small loss for the week. If you trade via the forex market you would have made a small profit for the week. The winners weren't big and the losers weren't big. Lot of trades just stuck around breakeven for the most part. Which makes for a not that exciting of a week. But also doesn't blow thru your capital on weeks like this either which is a GREAT plus.

One thing with this software is it does teach discipline in the markets. As the software is time based. Each day you know ahead of time when you have a possibility of trading. So if you live in the eastern time zone you know you won't be trading around 8am Eastern etc.. Being time based system it helps you from trying to find trades to take just for action. Trust me I have been their many times. Looking for trades just so I could get in the market. I would hunt for them and when I couldn't find one that meets my liking I take ones that are "close" to meeting my liking and jump in on it. And what happens 90% of time in those cases is I end up with a big fat losing trade and usually it doesn't take long.

With the software the way it is now I know that I don't have to hunt for trades all day. I can trade when the software indicates is a good time to trade and I can check the ebook stats to see if historically this trade has done well. I can still trade a couple times a day but I don't have to hunt for the trades or guess etc.. The discipline of knowing when to stay out of the market is a BIG helper. If you have a plan that works you need to stick with it and I think with this software it has proven to me it does work.

The LazyTrading.com software does NOT trade on Fridays. It is strictly a Mon-Thursday software. So I don't have any stats for today on it. Take what the Forex Gives. Thursday Sept 28

Well, yesterday was a slow day. The forex markets didn't trade the movement that I like to see so it was a day I did trade but very lightly.

I had 3 trades.

EUR/CHF it was a 12 pip Winner but very small trade.

GBP/AUD it finished up 7 pips, on BOM you needed up 8 to win. Forex probably a small profit or breakeven. (Medium size trade)

GBP/YEN it finished 4 pip winner, on BOM you needed to win by 7 pips. Forex probably a small profit or breakeven. (Very small trade)

So overall a small profit or breakeven type day on forex.

A small losing day if taking just BOM (betonmarkets) The point is though is you got to take what the forex will give you. I chatted with those on yahoo messenger yesterday about the movements and action of the forex market. That the range wasn't what I liked to see. And that being the case we would trade lightly that day. Their will always be tomorrow or the next day to trade. There is no point of forcing a trade just to trade. If you want to trade on these types of days its best to trade them lightly.

Their are lots of good trading days with this software and yesterday wasn't one of them. Even though all 3 trades finished in the positive pip range. None of them were home runs.

On days like those its good to preserve your capital for the GOOD days. And that comes from the ebook as I describe which trades are best on which days but I also give a huge tip on the range movement for the day. And when we see that kind of movement and we have a good day historically you can be much more confident with that trade.

On to today's trading.

Thursday historically is a lightly day for our software. (Though it may not be today due to the fact that yesterdays action wasn't the best. But we will take what the forex gives.)

AUD/USD

GBP/USD

It looks like the scheduled news of the day is already out for today.

Good morning Forex traders, I hope you had a profitable day yesterday like I did.

The GBP/YEN based on the historical stats that I have in my ebook was a WINNER again yesterday. It wasn't the 50 pips like it was a couple weeks ago but hey I will take it.

I had someone ask me if they could retire on this software and if it could produce the profits needed to trade. Well, I can't answer the retire question I don't know how much each person needs for retirement etc.. I can say though that if you trade the software with the ebook stats you give yourself a great shot of making money in the forex market.

For example ONLY taking the GBP/YEN trades for this month based on the ebook stats. (So only take the signal when its historically a good day for it) In doing so based on BOM stats (forex results would be slightly different but you will have a good idea) you would have made 83 pips so far for this month. That is just based on the GBP/YEN pair and only based on ebook stat days.

So whether you can retire on that or what I don't know. But if you can get consistent results month after month whether its in pips or wins over the long term you can build your account, add more lots etc.. And I think with this software you can do that, as I have myself over the last year.

Well, on to today's trading.

Historically our Software has more good trades on Wednesday than any other day.

4 currency pairs that we offer have good historical stats on Wednesdays.

They are

USD/YEN
GBP/AUD
GBP/USD
GBP/YEN

All 4 of those pairs have a historical records of around 70% winners for this day. We will see what happens later today.

First, about yesterdays trading the software went 1-1 on betonmarkets trading. The USD/CAD was a nice winner. The GBP/AUD was a small loser probably a breakeven on forex trading though that is a hard pair to find in the forex markets.

Second, Someone asked me yesterday a question of... What makes LazyTrading.com different from others and if I had 1 year of backtested results etc...

I wanted to address those questions in this blog as other people might be wondering the same thing. I DON'T have 1 year of backtested results. I have 1 year + of Historical stats/trades of ACTUAL trades I took myself with the software. That is a BIG difference between that and backtested results. Backtesting results aren't always accurate especially when dealing with systems that deal with indicators etc.. (This software does not) As the indicator may be different in the backtest than it was in REAL TIME.

All my results are based on Real Time results that I traded with the LazyTrading software. Most of the results are based on Betonmarkets results though I have listed the results how many pips winner/drawdown etc..
So these are NOT backtested results but Real results I traded myself with the software over the last year +.

Also how is LazyTrading.com different then the other forex systems out there. Well, most of those are just ebooks with peoples strategies. You have to setup your charts and HUNT for trades throughout the day. Many systems if you have 10 people trading the same system will have 10 different entry and exits due to the fact you need to find the trade or need to look for a "BEND" in an indicator etc..

Those that do actually offer SOFTWARE are $100's if not $1000's of dollars or cost $100 a month etc.. Most do not offer 90 day Support LIVE like with LazyTrading.com

With LazyTrading.com Everyone can have the same entry time and exit time as the software is programmed the same for everyone. So you won't be trading the USD/CAD at 8am because their will NEVER be a signal at that time. It is a time based software so you don't have to HUNT all day for the trades. You just crave out a few minutes each day to look at the software and jump on yahoo messenger (if you want to) and trade the software.

LazyTrading is Software and not just an ebook. Yes I do include a small ebook with the software but that is to show you how/when to trade and what are the best days and pairs to trade.

On to today's Forex action. The 10am Eastern Consumer Confidence report came out and moved the forex markets a little bit. The USD/YEN had a strong reaction to it.

Tuesdays can be a slow day for the software only 2 really good signals historically on Tuesdays.

GBP/AUD
GBP/YEN

Both of which have about a 70%+ winning rate. The GBP/YEN was a nice 50+ pip winner 2 weeks ago on a Tuesday. We will see how it goes today.

Historical stats for the markets is a great tool, INCLUDING THE FOREX MARKET. In my ebook for www.LazyTrading.com I talk about historical stats for the currency pairs that I trade.
